The partner of a melancholy person needs to trust God to be sensitive as to what emotion his melancholic partner feels per time since he/she is not emotionally expressive, thereby helping him/her to be less resentful.

The phlegmatic spouses are peaceful personified, relaxed, easy going, consistent, kind, sympathetic, witty, quiet, collected, cool, and calm. However, peace is the hallmark of the phlegmatic trait.
