Our text today says that it is important to put our faith to work for it to deliver as expected, and this involves being in touch with what is obtainable and being positioned to achieve it as intended. A person is said to be realistic when he or she is sensible and practical enough to know what is achievable at a given time and know how to go about it.

As said yesterday, the mothers who were referenced as parents in the Bible were those who were realistic enough to be able to put their faith to work maximally and promptly.

Just as Jochebed needed to consistently look inward to know how and where to make her faith work over her son, you too have to come to that point of reality where you can look inward to trust God to get inspired as to how to make your faith work as God intends. For the scripture says that through faith, Jochebed preserved her son from death. Your seed, too, shall be preserved.
