On 7th February, 2024, our organization visited Bashorun High School, bode wasimi, akobo, Ibadan North East Local government.
Our visitation to Bashorun High School had as its goal educating pupils in-depth about sexual health issues. By arming them with correct knowledge, abilities, and tools on puberty, sexual health, and stopping sexual assault, our goal was to empower them.
We talked about the mental and physical changes that come with puberty. During this transitional period, students studied about body growth, menstruation (for girls), voice changes (for guys), and emotional well-being.
How rape and sexual assault can be prevented in the community.
We appreciate that the resources are provided to both boys and girls thanks to our sponsors.
We also value the chance to talk with the students of the school and also thanks the administration of the school for the opportunity granted to us to speak to their students.
