The word of God is often referred to as water in the scriptures because of its cleaning nature -1John 5:7-9, meaning that the word of God (the Scripture is his voice) No wonder the Bible says faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God, emphasizing the fact that the word of God has a voice and He speaks. To hear God is simple if only you can acquaint yourself with His word.
