It was said yesterday that the virtue of endurance is highly needed to cut down on excesses that we might strongly desire and focus on what is needful per time so as to have a very successful and productive parenting process. There is no doubt; Jochebed must have endured so many things, which include holding on, as touching her goals, and aspirations to ensure that her seed survived the hard time.
Likewise, she must have been reserved and shunned talkativeness; if she were a talk-it-all kind of woman, I’m sure she would have exposed her son and lost the purpose of God for her life. Fathers and mothers, you have to be disciplined and sensitive to the Holy Spirit as regards talking about your child’s successes and failures to others; God help us all, as this might not be easy for the extrovert parent.
