We’re thrilled to share the success of our Teenage Awareness School Program held on 12th-13th September 2024!
Organized by Sure Hope Academy, this 2-day program aimed to equip teenagers (ages 8-19) with essential life skills.
Do you know that lack of basic knowledge about teen- age and the society around a child can impede on the academic performance? The cognitive development of your child/ward is important but ignoring other aspects of their lives can impede their Mental Health, Academic Performance and your Desired Goal as a parent.
Yesterday, we had a nice time with the teenagers at Redemption Family Church as we celebrated Good Friday. Teenagers were enlightened on how to manage the opposite relationship, puberty stage and sexuality management.
Pupils and teachers at the school were excited to have us speak with their boys and girls on the subject matter above. Girls and boys were enlightened and informed on the following; what sexual assault and rape is, who can be raped, tactics of rapist, what to do if one eventually becomes a victim and many more.
There is a call to strike a balance between our outward appearance and our inner-self. This is important for a sustainable relationship with God, yourself and your spouse.
Negative self-talk entails speaking negatively to yourself or speaking negatively about yourself in the hearing of others around you, which could painfully stir negative thoughts and actions from them towards you.
Unlike the early years, teenagers in the 21st century are more vulnerable to social vices due to exposure to wrong information; most especially in the area of their sexuality.
