Your past record, realities, background experiences and future aspirations should be laid bare to anyone you intend to marry. If he or she can’t cope with the truth, just let go.

One reason why individuals keep secrets is that, they feel the other person might not be able to handle the truth.

Having checked for alignment of purpose and compared your suitor with what God has told you ahead of time, it is important to take a step further to check for compatibility.

Marital conviction is so easy to come by, just as it was easy for Eliezer, if we all come to the point where we have a consistent working relationship with God.

Alignment of purpose does not mean that yourself and your intending spouse must have the same life mission; it simply means that both of you must have clarity of the problem each of you is created to solve and see how you can work with one another to achieve it.
