As part of our commitment to promoting child safety and well-being, our organization visited Ikolaba Pry School on the 15th of May 2024, to conduct an awareness program on preventing rape and child sexual assault. The program aimed to educate pupils on the importance of consent, boundaries, and healthy relationships.
The awareness program was conducted for pupils in the school. The session was interactive, using diagrams, charts, and visual aids to explain complex concepts in a child-friendly manner. Our team of experts led the program, which covered the following topics:
1. What is rape and child sexual assault?
2. Types of touch (safe and unsafe)
3. Setting boundaries and consent
4. Identifying trusted adults and support systems
5. Strategies for seeking help and reporting incidents
The Pupils actively participated in the program, engaging with the interactive sessions and asking questions.

The calendar chart on rape prevention and sexual assaults was well-received by the school, and they expressed gratitude for the free resource.
