It has been established from the previous teachings that being a P-A-R-E-N-T (Patient, Admirer, Realistic, Enduring, Nearest, Teacher) involves being able to partner with God in bringing to pass His purpose over your child’s destiny and setting him or her on the destined throne. The first three letters have been explained, and next to them is E-Enduring. To endure simply means to have the agility or tenacity to go through and withstand a prolonged stressful process until success is obtained. It takes endurance to go through the heat of giving birth and to rise without giving up in the face of difficulty, as it takes a lot of endurance to advance in adversity. Our text today says that Jesus endured the cross to fulfill His purpose. In the same vein, if you want to succeed in parenting, you need the virtue of endurance.
